LED fixtures for residential use aren't limited to recessed cans and undercabinet lights anymore. A recent LED expo showcased the bulbs being used as pendants and chandeliers.
TreeHugger’s David Bergman shares some of his findings form the annual LEDucation expo.
“As an architect who also designs light fixtures, I’ve always been a bit disappointed by the lack of decorative offerings. But not this year,” Bergman writes. “As I walked the aisles, I encountered a greater number of lights that I could see using in a home.”
One creative interpretation was the famous Artichoke light by Louis Poulsen, relit with LEDs.
